xR-Sight is a unique thermal imaging device. It leverages machine learning techniques including YOLO (You Only Look Once) to provide automatic classification of objects in the field of view. xR-Sight can even alert the operator when a particulal object is detected, for instance a human or vehicle. This frees up operators from having to keep an eye constantly on the video feed to avoid missing an important activity. As a next step for xR-Sight, we are adding Augmented Reality (AR) to allows visualization of geographic reference points directly in the sight picture, taking situational awareness to a whole new level.
